About
My work grows from long days spent outdoors - while walking, sailing, and camping my curiosity is captured by shifting weather, encounters with wildlife, and visceral moments of awe, fear and joy. Out there, I make small drawings, notes, and recordings as ways of collecting what can’t be held.
In the studio, those fragments develop into paintings and monoprints that blur memories, feelings, and personal stories together. Through this act I learn about myself - reflecting and connecting with the world around me.
